Description: “All labour that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance, and hence should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.” Labour Day is set to celebrate the hard work and achievements of the labour group. This is one day that is entirely devoted to the labour class. The International Worker’s Day also called as Labour Day, was celebrated at Bethany Convent School, Greater Noida with great zeal. A special assembly was conducted by the students of Class VII. The celebration began with the Tilak Ceremony of the supportive staff followed by Prayer and Prayer Song. This was indeed a special day as the supportive staff introduced themselves beautifully. They also played “Passing the Parcel”. The happiness and the smile were clearly visible on the faces of our laborious and diligent supportive staff. There was also a mesmerising dance performance given by Class VII students. Our reverend Principal Sister Roseline Clara addressed the students and stated that we must learn to respect and appreciate the efforts of the labour class. She appreciated them for working unconditionally and thanked them for their hard work. The supportive staff was overwhelmed watching the function and expressed their gratitude towards the school management, teachers and students for their regard and affection. Overall, it was a fruitful day for the students which taught them to be grateful and thankful to everyone.
