Description:
On 23rd August, Bethany Convent Sr. Secondary School, Greater Noida, held a special assembly to celebrate Janmashtami. We had the privilege of welcoming Sr. Christine, Secretary of the Sarvodaya Welfare Society, as our esteemed guest. The assembly commenced with a soul-stirring Sanskrit shloka and a warm introduction. Sr. Christine was presented with a sapling as a symbol of our respect and gratitude.
The school choir then delivered a spiritually uplifting song, followed by an enchanting dance drama that vividly portrayed the playful childhood of Lord Krishna. This was followed by a prize distribution ceremony to honor our football team and the students and teachers who contributed to the Kerala relief fund. Sr. Christine, along with our Principal, Sr. Dr. Shilpa Mary, graciously presented the awards.
Sr. Christine then shared her pearls of wisdom with the assembly, after which we enjoyed a beautiful Krishna-Gopi dance performance. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the traditional "Matki Phod" ceremony led by our students. The pre-primary wing also delighted everyone with a charming dance. The assembly concluded, leaving our hearts filled with spirituality and the timeless teachings of Lord Krishna.
