On 23rd December, the Christmas celebration at Bethany Convent School, Greater Noida, was a meaningful and spiritually uplifting event for the staff, sisters, and supportive members of the school.
The celebration proceeded with a procession of Baby Jesus and the Father Founder, accompanied by the carol "Joy to the World" and the devotional hymn “Father Mascarenhas Hai Tumko Naman.”
Inside the chapel, the event unfolded with a prayerful ambiance. Sr. Dulcin read the Holy Bible, followed by melodious carols, including "Silent Night" and "Charwahay Nachay Jhum Ke," led by the choir. A heartfelt Christmas prayer was offered, reflecting on the birth of Jesus Christ and its significance.
The celebration concluded with a joyful Tambola game, enthusiastically played by the sisters, supportive staff, and teachers, fostering a sense of unity and festivity. The gathering ended with a delicious lunch, filled with a spirit of togetherness and gratitude.
The event was a beautiful blend of spiritual reflection and festive cheer, leaving everyone enriched by the message of Christmas and the inspiring legacy of Mgr. Mascarenhas.
