On 17th August, Bethany Convent Sr. Secondary School, Greater Noida, organised a session on Fire Safety and Disaster Management Awareness at our school was an enlightening and essential event. Conducted by safety experts, the session aimed to educate students and staff on the importance of being prepared for emergencies, particularly fires. The experts provided practical demonstrations on how to use fire extinguishers, the importance of smoke detectors, and evacuation procedures.
Students also learned about disaster management, including how to respond to natural calamities like earthquakes and floods. The session emphasized the need for a well-coordinated emergency plan and the role each individual plays in ensuring safety.
