Orientation for the teachers on the topic Thinking Pedagogies and Methodologies at Bethany Convent School Greater Noida (30th June 2023)
Principal Sister Dr. Shilpa conducted an innovative, interesting, and engaging orientation on Thinking Pedagogies and Methodologies. Sister explained the importance of answering the 'WHY?'. She explained the importance of the 4C's of Skill based learning -Communication, Collaboration, Critical thinking, and Creativity. She explained about the CPA(Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract) concept of teaching Mathematics. She talked about foundational Literacy and numeracy and showcased how it can be used in day-to-day teaching. She elucidated the concepts of teaching EVS through VTS(Visual Thinking Strategy)- I see, I think and I wonder about Art Integration as an important tool of teaching. It was a fascinating and captivating session.
