Description:
On 8th February, Bethany Convent School, Greater Noida, organized a *Street Maths Activity, where students from **Classes 3 to 8* actively participated in real-life mathematical applications. Through engaging activities based on profit and loss, selling and buying, discounts, and direct and indirect variation, students got hands-on experience in applying maths to daily life situations.
The initiative was inspired by our Principal, Dr. Shilpa Mary, who encouraged students to develop their oral calculation skills and enhance their critical thinking. This interactive approach not only made learning fun but also helped students improve their logical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and quick mental calculations. The activity fostered a practical understanding of mathematical concepts making it a truly enriching experience for all participants.
