80th Independence Day Celebration at Bethany Convent School, Greater Noida

Bethany Convent School, Greater Noida, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with pride, patriotism and a deep sense of responsibility towards the Nation.

Chief Guest: Mrs. Mahamedha Nagar, State Secretary, BJP

The celebration began with a spirited March Past by the four Houses, reflecting discipline, unity and team spirit. The school campus then came alive with cultural performances by our patriotic Bethanites, who expressed their love for the Nation through music, dance and inspiring presentations.

A special highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of students who participated in the Creative Writing Competition for the National Anthem and School Anthem. Their creativity, imagination and love for the Nation were appreciated and celebrated.

The Best House Award was presented to Martha House (Green House), which emerged as the winner and proudly received the trophy for its outstanding performance.

In her inspiring address, our Chief Guest, Mrs. Mahamedha Nagar, shared her own journey and spoke about how encouragement from others gave her the confidence to take initiatives and eventually step into public life. Her story reminded our students that every meaningful journey begins with the courage to take the first step.

She encouraged the Bethanites to ignite the light within themselves, discover their potential and use their abilities to serve and protect the Nation.

As India celebrates 80 years of Independence, may our students grow into responsible, courageous and compassionate citizens who carry the spirit of India in their hearts.
